Just a kilometre from Sveti Stefan off the coastal road, this small, quiet resort town surrounded by hilly olive groves and cedar forests retains a traditional fishing village vibe.
Known for its seafood restaurants, it’s busy enough to be lively, though not overcrowded, with a handful of informal bars and restaurants lining the cove. With pretty views over the mountainous coastline, and a tiny islet topped by a single ruin sitting in the middle of the bay, it’s a quaint spot to stop for lunch and swim.
The Maestral Hotel dominates one end of the bay, managing to produce remarkable numbers of Italian tourists on weekends who come for the on-site casino and private beach access.
- Take a swim in the bay’s turquoise Blue Flag water
